The ABA welcomes the Sexualisation of Young People Review commissioned by the Home Office from Dr Papadopoulos and endorses the review's  recommendations on preventing and responding to sexist and sexual bullying in schools. We are also pleased that the need to tackle this issue in the wider community beyond schools has been recognised in recommendations on the training of youth workers.  The DCSF recently launched guidance for schools on preventing and responding to sexist, sexual and transphobic bullying in schools;  ABA hopes  this review will support  the dissemination of the guidance, and encourage government, schools and the wider community to work with children and young people to address this important issue.
