The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has produced a suite of guidance to assist schools and local authorities with preventing and responding to bullying.

The suite includes:

• Safe to Learn: Embedding anti-bullying work in schools
• Cyberbullying
• Homophobic bullying
• Bullying around racism, religion and culture
• Bullying of children involving children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Safe from Bullying: Guidance for local authorities and other strategic leaders on reducing bullying in the community

Local authority anti-bullying leads should familiarise themselves with these documents and make sure that they are promoted to schools and other relevant agencies.
